R8 GT Spyder

or those of you who love the R8 as much as we do this June will be quite special. Audi has announced that the fastest drop-top model the company has ever build – the new R8 GT Spyder will be shown for the first time at the Le Mans 24-hour race.

Based on the official images revealed the car stays true to the iconic R8 design language, which is something we are quite pleased with. Under the hood we will see the same 552bhp, 398lb ft 5.2-litre V10 engine also currently being used by the R8 GT coupé. With a top speed of 193mph (only 6mph less that the current version) the spyder will not disappoint even the fastest and most furious of its fans. 0 to 60 is executed in 3.6 seconds and the top speed is 320km/h!

Legendary Quattro is standard combined with the latest Audi six-speed R-tronic gear box.
