Audi A7 Premiere at the DCOTA

ery few cars in the automobile history become legendary with their design alone and very few of them last the test of time without being forgotten. Porsche, Lamborghini and Audi are few of the brands that have models, which have become iconic and are till this day used to define time periods.

Today at the Design Center Of The Americas Audi premiered its latest creation envisioned to become one of those iconic designs – The Audi A7.

Athletic, elegant and dramatic, the A7 is a five-door coupe with the graceful look of a benchmark luxury sedan.

Equipped with one of the Audi’s best engines ever made the 3.0T (Supercharged) V6, which produces 310hp and utilizes Audi’s FSI (Audi Fuel Stratified Injection) technology, the A7 goes from 0-60 in 5.4 seconds while achieving remarkable fuel efficiency. Factory standard is the legendary quattro all-wheel drive, latest generation Audi 8-speed Tiptronic transmission as well as configurable system for handling and performance known as Audi Drive Select.

As far as the interior is concerned … well we can only describe it as stunning. Its not a secret that no one in the automotive industry comes close to Audi in terms of interior quality, design, functionality and elegance, but the A7 interior is pushing the standards to another level! From the moment you position yourself at the driver seat and surround yourself with Audi MMI Touch (Multi Media Interface allowing hand written inputs), Bang & Olufsen Advanced Surround System and put your hands on the leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel you are no longer in an automobile, you are now officially the pilot of a space shuttle. A very, very, very luxurious and elegant space shuttle – the shuttle, which we were able to see and photograph for you and your visual entertainment.

Enjoy the photos of the latest automobile icon.
